Berger Novelties & Awards Got its start in 1966 when Mike, then
a high school
student, began working
in the Carnival Concession & Novelty Sales.
As a result of
this, several local merchants asked us if it would be possible
for us get them giveaway items such as balloons and pens
imprinted with their business name. This ultimately led us into
the advertising and promotional products industry. In 1980 we
made the decision to bring celluloid button manufacturing in
house followed by our own ribbon hot stamping in 1989 together
with on site engraving using a pantograph, prior to this all our
engraving had been out sourced to another local shop. With the
acquisition of the Lions International account, we made the
decision that we needed something faster and in March 1994 , we
made the investment into a Meistergram PC 912S engraver.
Shortly after we added the capability to do our own onsite
digitizing, and sublimation.
